Is Meta Muse Available in Your Country?

Published 5 min read

Here’s the short version of Meta Muse availability. As of October 2026, Muse AI is available in just three countries: the United States, Canada and Japan. Meta hasn’t announced a launch date for any other country.

If you’re not sure what Muse is yet, read our simple guide to Meta Muse first. It covers what Meta’s AI agent does and who it’s for.

You also need to be 18 or older and sign in with a Meta Account. Below you’ll find the full country list, the rollout timeline, and what we know about future launches.

Is Meta Muse available in my country?

As of October 2026, Meta Muse is only available in the US, Canada and Japan. Meta’s Help Center says Muse and its subscriptions “aren’t available in all locations.”

The easiest way to check is your app store. Search for “Muse from Meta” on the App Store or Google Play. If it doesn’t appear, Muse most likely isn’t offered where you live yet.

A few other things can hide the app, even in a supported country:

  • Your iPhone or iPad runs an iOS version older than 18. The App Store listing needs iOS 18 or later.
  • Your account is set up for someone under 18. Muse is rated 18+.
  • You found a look-alike app. The real one is listed by Meta Platforms, Inc.

Our Meta Muse app guide walks through each fix if the app won’t show up. You can also try the web version at muse.ai, which signs you in through your Meta account.

Meta Muse release date and rollout

Meta Muse first launched in the US on September 8, 2026. Meta’s launch post said it was “rolling out in the US on iOS, Android, and muse.ai.”

Meta had first planned to launch in April 2026. Fox Business reported that Meta delayed it to do more security work.

Here’s how the rollout has gone so far:

  • September 8, 2026: US launch on iPhone, Android and the web. You can also message Muse in WhatsApp.
  • Mid to late September: a Mac app arrives. Reported dates differ.
  • September 18, 2026: Canada launch, announced by Meta on X. iPhone in Canada reported that Android was “still coming” that day. By late September, Muse was on iOS and Android in both countries.
  • October 7, 2026: iPad support added in App Store version 10.
  • October 23, 2026: Japan launch, the first market outside North America.

Meta also announced Muse for AI glasses “in the coming months” and a pocket device called Muse Charm. Neither has a release date as of October 2026.

When will Meta Muse launch outside the US?

Meta Muse already works outside the US, in Canada and Japan. For every other country, Meta hasn’t given a date or a list of next markets.

Japan

Meta’s Alexandr Wang announced the Japan launch on X. According to DigitalToday, Japanese users got:

  • Gmail and Google Calendar connectors at launch.
  • Mercari and Money Forward ME connectors, listed as coming “soon.”
  • Travel experiences from Klook, through a partnership with Meta.

Plans can change quickly. In September, Meta’s Japanese launch page said a Japan release was “currently undecided.” About six weeks later, Muse launched there.

The EU, the UK and the rest of the world

Nothing official has been announced for the EU, the UK, India, Australia, Brazil or the rest of Asia. 9to5Mac wrote that more countries would be “added over time,” with no dates.

So if you’re looking for Meta Muse in India or the UK, there’s no launch date yet. The app usually won’t show up in your store there.

Some blogs guess at launch dates. We haven’t found any from Meta, so we don’t repeat them here.

If Muse isn’t in your country yet, other personal AI agents may be. Their limits differ too.

For example, Google’s Gemini Spark (Task) isn’t offered in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland. See our guide to the best personal AI agents to compare your options.

Meta Muse age requirement

You must be 18 or older to use Meta Muse. The Muse Terms say you can’t use it if you’re under 18, or under a higher age where you live. The App Store listing is also rated 18+.

You also need a Meta Account. According to Meta’s get started page, you can create one with:

  • A Facebook account
  • An Instagram account
  • An email address
  • A phone number

You don’t need Facebook or Instagram to use Muse. TechCrunch also reported that you need to add a payment card to get started, even on the free plan. Meta’s help pages don’t mention this.
