Muse AI Login: How to Sign In to Meta Muse

Published 6 min read

The Muse AI login is simple. Go to muse.ai or open the Muse app, then sign in with your Meta account. If you don’t have one, you can create one with Facebook, Instagram, an email address or a phone number.

This site has no login form. MuseAI is an independent guide, not Meta. Only enter your details at muse.ai or in Meta’s official Muse apps.

How to log in to Muse AI

To log in to Muse AI, open muse.ai or the Muse app and sign in with your Meta account. Meta’s get started page says you can sign in this way in the app or on the web.

  1. Open the real Muse. Go to muse.ai in a browser, or open the “Muse from Meta” app on your phone.
  2. Start the sign-in. On the web, muse.ai sends you to Meta’s own account pages.
  3. Sign in with your Meta account. You can also continue with Facebook or Instagram.
  4. Finish any security check, like a two-factor code.
  5. Start chatting. Muse opens on the Chat tab.

Check the web address before you type a password. Sign-in should start at muse.ai. Meta’s account system handles the rest.

How to create a Muse account

You create a Muse account by signing in with a Meta account, or by making a new one. Meta says you can create a Meta account with Facebook, Instagram, an email address or a phone number.

Before you sign up, check these:

  • Age: you must be 18 or older, according to the Muse Terms.
  • Country: Muse is only offered in the US, Canada and Japan as of October 2026.
  • Payment card: TechCrunch reported that you need a card to start, even for free use. Meta’s help pages don’t say this.

Signing up is free. Muse is free with a usage limit, and paid plans add more.

Keep your account safe

Add an email and a phone number to your Meta account. Meta’s help page on account contact details says you need a current one to reset a forgotten password. Both give you another way to verify your account.

Turn on two-factor authentication. That’s a second check, like a code, on top of your password. Find it in Accounts Center > Password and security > Two-factor authentication. Facebook’s two-factor help page lists a security key, an authentication app or a text message as options.

Muse login with Facebook or Instagram

You can log in to Muse with Facebook or Instagram, but you don’t have to. An email address or phone number works just as well.

There’s one thing to know first. If Facebook, Instagram or Threads share an Accounts Center with your Meta account, they connect to Muse automatically. Accounts Center is Meta’s hub for linking your Meta accounts.

Want to keep Muse apart from your social accounts? Sign up with an email that isn’t linked to another Meta account.

You can also disconnect apps any time in Settings > Connectors. Our guide on how to use Meta Muse covers connecting and removing apps.

Sign in to Muse on the web and desktop

On any computer, go to muse.ai in your browser and sign in with your Meta account. It’s the same account you use on your phone.

Device How to sign in
Windows PC muse.ai in a browser. No Windows app yet; Microsoft says a native one is coming soon
Mac Meta’s Mac app, or muse.ai in a browser
iPhone or Android The “Muse from Meta” app

On a Mac, get the app from Meta’s own download page, not the Mac App Store. Sign in with your Meta account. We didn’t find separate Mac login steps on Meta’s pages.

For downloads and app differences, see our guide to Muse AI on Windows and Mac.

Muse AI login not working?

If your Muse AI login isn’t working, check that you’re on muse.ai or the official app, then sign in again. Most sign-in trouble has a simple cause.

Symptom Most likely fix
Can’t find the sign-in page Go straight to muse.ai
Forgot your password Reset it with your current email or phone
App won’t let you in Update the app, then try muse.ai
“We disconnected Muse to protect your information” Secure your Meta account, then report it

Quick fixes

  1. Check the address. Use muse.ai or the official Muse app only.
  2. Check your internet connection. Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
  3. Update the Muse app from your app store, then restart your device.
  4. Sign out and sign back in with your Meta account.
  5. Test your Meta account. Try signing in to it somewhere else.
  6. Reset your password if you forgot it. You’ll need a current email or phone on the account.
  7. Try the other version. If the app fails, try muse.ai, or the other way around.
  8. Check your country and age. Muse isn’t offered everywhere, and you must be 18 or older.

“We disconnected Muse to protect your information”

This lockout is the most common login problem users report. It’s not covered by a Meta help article as of October 2026.

Users in Meta’s community forums say it shows up after a security event. Examples include a password reset, a suspicious-activity lock, or tapping “This wasn’t me” on a login alert. Some say tickets got slow replies or none.

Here’s what users say they tried:

  • Running Meta’s account recovery or Security Checkup
  • Signing out and back in
  • Tapping Reconnect
  • Reporting the issue in Muse

None of these is a confirmed fix. Our Meta Muse login problems section has more on this lockout.

Still not working?

Report the problem to Meta. Meta’s safety help page says you can go to Settings > Report an issue on the web or in the app. In the app, you can also shake your phone to open the report form.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Muse AI login free?

Yes. Signing in costs nothing, and Muse itself is free with a usage limit. Paid plans give you more tokens each week. TechCrunch reported that you need to add a payment card to get started, even for free use, though Meta's own help pages don't mention this as of October 2026.

Do I need a Facebook account to use Muse?

No. You sign in to Muse with a Meta account, and you can create one with an email address or a phone number instead of Facebook or Instagram. If you want to keep Muse separate from your social accounts, sign up with an email that isn't linked to another Meta account.

What is the official Muse login page?

The official place to sign in on the web is muse.ai. It hands you over to Meta's own account sign-in pages. On a phone, use the Muse from Meta app from the App Store or Google Play. Never type your Meta password into any other site that offers a Muse login.

Can I use one Muse account on all my devices?

Yes. Your Muse login is your Meta account, so you use the same account on your phone, at muse.ai and in the Mac app. Muse runs on its own cloud computer, not just on one device. There's no Windows app yet, so Windows users sign in at muse.ai.
