Muse Customer Service: How to Contact Meta About Muse
Published 5 min read
Muse customer service works mostly inside the app. Meta has no phone line or email for Muse. To get help, you report the problem in Muse itself or use Meta’s Help Center.
MuseAI is an independent guide, not Meta. We can’t see or fix your Muse account. This page shows you the right official place for each problem.
New to Muse? Our guide to what Meta Muse is explains how Meta’s AI agent works.
| Problem | Where to go (as of October 2026) |
|---|---|
| A bug or something Muse did wrong | Settings > Report an issue, or shake your phone in the app |
| Billing through the App Store or Google Play | That store’s subscription settings |
| Billing you set up in Muse | Settings > Manage subscription |
| “We disconnected Muse” lockout | Secure your Meta account, then report it |
| How-to questions | Meta’s Help Center |
| A security bug | Meta’s Bug Bounty program |
Does Muse have customer service?
Muse has in-app reporting and Meta’s Help Center, but no phone line, email or live chat we could find. Meta’s phone support page says Meta “doesn’t have a general public phone number available for customer service.”
Meta says Help Centers are the easiest way to get support. It may offer phone help for some products in some places, but not a general line.
Here’s what we couldn’t find as of October 2026:
- A Muse support phone number
- A Muse support email address
- A live chat option
- An official Muse status page
- Any promise about how fast Meta replies
How to report a problem in the Muse app
To report a problem, go to Settings > Report an issue on the web or in the app. That’s the official path in Meta’s privacy, safety and security help page. Meta says you can report anything “unexpected or concerning” so its team can look into it.
- On the web: open Settings in the lower left, then choose Report an issue.
- In the app: shake your phone to open the report sheet, then submit a report.
- Or in the app menu: on the Chat tab, open the menu in the top left. Then go to Settings > Report an issue.
Some users describe the path as Settings > Help & support > Report an issue, so the label may vary. One user said the web form gave them a bug ID. If you get one, save it.
Make your report useful:
- Say what you asked Muse to do.
- Say what actually happened, and when.
- Name the app or website involved, like Gmail or a store.
For common fixes you can try first, see our Meta Muse not working guide.
Muse billing and subscription help
For Muse billing help, go to wherever you paid. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, manage and cancel it there. That’s per Meta’s billing help page.
| How you paid | Where to manage it |
|---|---|
| Apple App Store | Your Apple account’s subscription settings |
| Google Play | Your Google Play subscription settings |
| Directly in Muse | Settings > Manage subscription in Muse |
To see past charges, check your Apple purchase history or your Google Play order history.
To cancel in Muse, Meta’s cancel steps say to tap your profile picture. Then go to Menu > Settings > Manage subscription > Cancel.
Good to know:
- Deleting the app doesn’t cancel your plan.
- You keep access until the end of your billing period.
- No partial refunds, unless the law requires them.
- Extra tokens you buy aren’t refundable, except where the law requires.
- A failed payment may get a short grace period before Meta cancels the plan.
Meta can also revoke a subscription. Its revoked subscriptions page lists reasons like failed payment or moving to an unsupported country. Access ends right away, and the page describes no appeal path.

Help with a disconnected Muse account
If you see “We disconnected Muse to protect your information,” secure your Meta account first, then report it. This lockout comes from user reports. Meta hasn’t published a help article on it as of October 2026.
Users in Meta’s community forums say it appears after a security event. That could be a password reset, a recovery or a suspicious-activity lock. Some say the ticket form failed or they got no reply.
What users say they tried:
- Running Meta’s account recovery or Security Checkup
- Signing out of Muse and back in
- Tapping Reconnect
- Reporting the issue under Settings > Report an issue
None of these is a confirmed fix. Our Muse AI login guide covers signing in and keeping your Meta account secure.
Other ways to get Muse help
Meta’s Help Center is the best self-help source for Muse. It has articles on connectors, permissions, payments, the Mac app and more.
Other places to look:
- Meta’s community forums. Other users share tips there. A forum member noted there’s no Meta staff, so treat answers as advice from peers.
- Meta Bug Bounty. Found a security flaw? Meta pays up to $300,000 for Muse bugs.
- Meta’s generative AI privacy page. It explains how Meta handles AI data.
- Our guides. We explain Muse in plain words, but we can’t act on your account.
Before you share anything with Muse support, check what Muse can access. Our Meta Muse privacy guide shows how to review permissions and revoke access.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a Muse customer service phone number?
No. Meta says it doesn't have a general public phone number for customer service, and numbers claiming to be Meta support may be scams. Don't call a number you found in search results or an ad. Report Muse problems in the app under Settings, then Report an issue, or use Meta's Help Center.
Is there a Muse support email?
No official Muse support email exists as of October 2026. The address support@muse.io belongs to an unrelated video product called muse.ai, not to Meta. To reach Meta about Muse, use Report an issue in the app or on the web. For billing through Apple or Google, contact that store instead.
Can MuseAI fix my Muse account?
No. MuseAI is an independent guide, not Meta, so we can't see, unlock or change your Muse account. We also never ask for your password. Only Meta can help with your account, through Report an issue in Muse or Meta's Help Center. We just point you to the right official place.
